Long Time Away for Me - Back for MORE?!
Hi peoples. I've been away for years and am back because I blew one of my speakers out in my car. I bought Focal 165 CVX's about four or five years ago and never installed them because my car suddenly needed lots of repairs. Then I was very poor for a long time However, now I have some money again and, in light of the stock speakers blowing out, figured it's time to hook these suckers up!
There's one catch- I don't know jack about jack! Bahahaha. I've never hooked speakers of this quality up before. I've gone through several entry line speakers but I've never hooked up nicer equipment. For example, lol, I don't even know what to do for the connectors needed for these speakers. Do I just crimp wire/connectors onto these?
Also, any advice on whether I should get a small amp? Very low budget and I still have stock speakers in the back. Don't need much boom these days.
