What's happening everyone!

Post by Robert Wollenberg »

Long time no see. I think I'm back again. For how long, I don't know, but hopefully no more long stints of silence from me. The Air Force was med boarding me for my back. I thought I was going to be out of a job so I was hell bent focused on getting a business up and running and then they decided to keep me so now I'm pretty swamped with both. I built a web site which I continue to work on. Still not happy with several parts of it but it's one of those things I work on in my spare time, http://www.abilenecaraudio.com.

As part of my web site I had thought about and tried building a forum to make it an abilene auto enthusiasts meetup type place. But that turned out to be way more work than I had time for. So, if it's alright with the moderators here, I'd like to send everyone from this neck of the woods (middle of nowhere Texas) to CAC as a place to learn about things and get involved with a mobile audio community. :) What say you moderators?

Other than that, i've got a new build going on this winter for next year. My G6 GXP is getting the stupid system. I'm looking at 2 Diamond Audio D6 15" subs ported. Arc Audio KS amplifiers and a HAT Legatia three-way up front. I bought a JBL MS-8 to stick in there but I'll probably be selling that to get the new PS-8 from Arc. I plan to come out big next year. :)

well, I missed hanging out on the board. I hope you guys will have me back. :)

Welcome back.

This place is pretty much dead as it gets... No harm in letting people read all the good information here, send them over.

Will do. I have a link to CAC on my web site now, but it's not very prominent. So, I'm going to make a graphic to better display it on the front page and encourage people to jump on and get active.

I added a CAC graphic and link on the right side of my web site. Not sure how many people even go to my web site, but I spend a shitload of time working on it. I sure hope someone is checking it out.

Thanks for the backlink, your site looks really good.
I'll have to check in a couple weeks to see how many come from the site.

Do you use Google Analytics? If not you should add it to your site, it really is nice seeing how people are using your site, where they are going, how long they stay etc.

Oh ya, I've been telling everyone this. Add some pics to the garage, doesn't have to be just systems, just pics your car. I want to see that used more.

Can do. I haven't done the analytics yet. I started working on it a couple times and got frustrated. I'll hit it again. I'll beef up my garage too. I have pics of my car, some of the original system when I put it in and will take a ton more once I start work on the system for next year. Hopefully we can get this joint popin like old times. :) I always did prefer this forum over the rest. Great bunch of guy, great place to chillax. :) I've been trying to get on yahoo answers and just updated my sig on there to include a link to the forum. So maybe that will help some too. Speaking of which, I tried editing my sig on here and I couldn't find a pencil or anything to let me do it. What's up with that? lol

Looks good!
It's nice seeing some other pics in the garage too!
