E-fan's. My new market.

Post by MobileAudio219 »

So today my buddy had 6 efans that he was about to toss into a scape car he was hauling in, so instead I gave him a 20 dollar bill and loaded them up. So I started thinking, I have friends that scrape cars all day long, I can probably buy these things for a couple bucks each and resell them to people building hot rods, off road buggys, and for similar applications.

They don't take up a ton of space and I can sell them for about 10-15 times more than what I paid for them. So yeah, if any of you guys ever need any e-fans just let me know what you need and I'll hook you up.

Yep, electric fans off vehicles.

There's a few o.e.m fans that move more air them most after-market fans, and they're usually way more reliable.

Most fans will probably resell for $15-$20 bucks. But some will go for as high as $75.00 (certain models are highly desirable.) Either way, all fans will return at least 4-5 times my investment, some will return as much as 25 times my investment.

Best of all, the initial start up will cost next to nothing, so there's not much to lose.

There's some in the 3rd gen F-Body community that use the Ford Taurus electric fan to cool their ride. Supposedly the Taurus fan moves quite a bit more air than the stock SBC electric fan. I don't have any problems with cooling yet, but I do have a replacement fan motor to install, I've had it almost a year because the junkyard motor is working so well.

A lot of fox body guys like to run the taurus and mark 8 fans. The intrepid fans are popular among the s10 guys. I think they should sell pretty good....

Haven't really tired yet. I unloaded them into the garage and forgot about them. I'm gonna throw them on craigslist tomorrow now that you've jogged my memory.
