went ahead and splurged on this cable as a "gift to me" at Christmas... it's been wonderful. However, I would definitely suggest taking out an insurance policy on this cable. I now pay an additional 50$ a month on my home owners policy just for the peace of mind that this thing is protected. (I had to give up my health insurance to cover the additional cost but hey, who has time to get sick when your watching the most premium picture quality a cable can provide.)

I like HDTV and I love coffee! What more could I ask for? I have a bluray player hidden in my garage for playing, ahem, Whitney Houston discs. It's hidden out in the garage because my wife caught me thoroughly enjoying those Whitney Houston discs and was livid: "Isn't my singing good enough for you?" "Why do you always cheat on me with other singers." "No, watching and enjoying Whitney Houston is not reseach, it is cheating." Blah blah blah. You should have seen her when she found those Whitney Houston magazines under my mattress a few years ago! Ugh!
Anyway, I hid a cheap bluray in the garage so she wouldn't find my collection and I ran cheap coaxial cables through the attic and down to the TV, and now I enjoy watching these... Whitney Houston DVDs with my dog Fifi when my wife is working in the bar.
Anyway, it really sucked because that lousy cable was my only 39' 5" option and it can't handle high res images. What's the point in watching Whitney Houston if you can't appreciate every pixel of the action, right?
WELL NOW I CAN!
This cable has been a godsend! Twice over! I'm on disability so I have no income. One day at work my boss wanted me to work and it really crushed my self-esteem, you know? My therapist in Costa Rica says I will never work again. Anyway, my disability checks aren't really big enough to pay for my entertainment center, 5 kids, my little dog Fifi, and my Whitney Houston addiction so it forced my wife to take extra hours at the bar! Talk about a win-win scenario! Now I can enjoy those pay-per-view Whitney videos in private too!
What's great about it: Gets wife out of house to pay for it
What's not so great: Still have to go to garage to press pause

The product I received was flawed. After spending several hours struggling with the packaging, I finally obtained access to the cable. When I tried to plug it in, it didn't fit, so I started to try to force it in. After about an hour of this, I finally got the cable in. To my disarray, it did not work. Now, the cable is stuck in my computer (I'd assume broken), and I have one less USB port. I was very unhappy with the product.
What's great about it: Nice color, Super cheap.
What's not so great: Doesn't work, too long.

I bought this cable with my tax return. I had wanted to buy a new HDTV, but when the Best Buy employee turned me towards this cable, I absolutely had to have it! My 42" Sony TV that I bought back in 2001 has a maximum resolution of 720p, but the employee assured me by simply using this cable, my TV would be capable of showing images in full 1080p @ 240hZ. I must say he was absolutely right! They also sold my a HDMI-DVI adapter since my TV has no HDMI inputs. So glad I did not waste my money on a larger more modern TV when this cable did the trick! Now I don't need to try and find a home for my TV with this upgrade!
On a side note: My audio comes straight out of my cable box and into the back of my Audiovox Cassette/CD combo player for clarity and easy volume control right next to my recliner. With the length on this cable I noticed that the picture never matched with the audio presumably because of the monstrous length. I solved this problem by simply cutting the cable down to a more manageable length and twisting the wires inside back together and taping them with some Scotch tape I had around the house. (Never use anything other than 3M brand Scotch tape! It is the BEST!). I did make the mistake of cutting it down 6" too short between my cable box and TV input, but I simply spliced in a 12" length of cable, using the extra 6" in case I need to change my components at a later date.
What's great about it: Made my 720p 60hZ TV 1080p @ 240hZ
What's not so great: Was too long so I had to cut it.
OK so that was pretty funny, but what gets me is that someone commented on his review.

So is this guy trying to be funny, or did he really take that review seriously?01/12/2011
I'm completely positive that a 720p screen is physically incapable of displaying an image at 1080p. The image will be scaled down to 720p. A cable can't spontaneously create extra pixels on your TV.
