first off, who is the owner of elevation audio??
i am bidding on the elevation audio 200.2 amp on ebay and i just received this email from username josephbelmonte
Dear thaone12factor,
hi, saw that you were bidding on a elevation audio xs200.2 amplifier on ebay, iam the owner of elevation audio and wanted to let you know that the product you are biding on is not warrantied by us and was involved in a water flood at our manufacturing location about 3 months ago. the product was taken by our insurance company and then sold off to places like cargo largo, the product was exposed to water and is not safe to be installed in your car, an email was sent to the seller and they did not pull the auctions down. but we dont want to see someone get a product and have a concern or hold our brand liable or even tarnish our reputation. thank you and if you have any other questions please contac tme best regards joe belmonte elevation audio

IT IS LEGIT.
I just got done talking to Joe, he is the owner of Elevation Audio. Apparently a few months back the Elevation shop had a huge flood which damaged almost all of the product in it, it was under almost two feet of water!
Their insurance company takes all of the damaged equipment and pays them for everything, but then the insurance company sells all of the damaged equipment to that seller on eBay! They are selling the equipment extremely cheap, and claiming it is new. Joe said 95% of the products being sold will not work (since they were floating in two feet of water) and the remaining products could result in a fire.
Joe has tried contacting eBay with the matter, but they are turning their shoulder to Joe since the seller who is selling it is a super power seller, and eBay makes TONS of money off of them! that is some shady business practices right there...
So bottom line, ELEVATION AUDIO BEING SOLD ON EBAY WAS ALL DAMAGED DURING A FLOOD. DO NOT PURCHASE.

Well my account is rather funny... lol after my ex...
anyhow you must of bid on another one. I got $9.99 on one and it ends today. I emailed the seller about what kind of gaurntee is on it. If I dont get a reply before the end of the auction Im going to retract it.
But if theres a non DOA or gaurntee with free shipping I may take a stab at it.
I know from the other elevation amp I bought (piece of chinese crap!) that Joe wasnt happy to see them on E Bay as they were quality rejects...
Anyhow we need to get Mr Joe on these forums... Justin...
Also I cant get email thru my e bay account. Long story.. So if he emailed it, it will fall of deaf ears
