The newest truck. 93 dakota, ext cab, 2wd, 5.2 v8, auto.

Decided I was just going to slap a used motor in the green dakota and sale it... because I wanted this instead.

93 dakota, ext cab, 2wd, 5.2 v8, automatic.

The truck was bought new buy my uncles brother n law. It now has 129,xxx miles. The truck runs and drives great, but the paint is fading in the typical dodge fashion, and there's rust over the back tires... so he decided to buy a new f150.

I talked to him today and told him I was either going to buy his truck, or rebuild the 3.9 for the green truck. I showed him cash and said take it or leave it... he took it! lol

The plan for the new few days is to: Complete detail, oil change/tune up, new exhaust (flowmaster!), install the stereo, remove the gay ground effects, remove the wood grain with the pieces from the green truck.

Lots of pictures tomorrow. He's two for now!

My uncles boss called today and said he has a good 5.2 liter v8 motor. I guess I'm going to buy that and do a mild build up on it, then put it in the green truck. The green truck is already pretty light, but with a few more parts removed (a/c system, factory sound deadner/padding, etc) it should move along PRETTY good with the old 5 speed.
Today I went out and removed the ground effects, removed the wood grain pieces, and put the wheels and tires from the green truck on it. HUGE improvement IMO.
