Ground Point VS Length of Ground Cable

I currently have my amp and LC6i grounded to the body of my truck. The length of the amp ground cable is about 12". Everything sounds fine, but as I add this second amp, I am considering moving the ground point to a bolt that goes directly into the frame of the truck. However, this will add another 18" or so to the ground cable length, putting my amp ground cables close to 30". I guess I can try both and see which works best, but in your opinion, would you choose the shorter ground cable that connect to the body of the truck, or a longer ground cable that connects directly to the frame of the truck?

cool. thanks Bill. that's what i'll do. I figure you're an expert after looking at the pictures of your van. Holy sh1t, that's a lot distribution!

Btw, i sold the OverDrive. Got $65 on eBay, which netted out my investment in my EQX to $65! Not bad for an item that sells for $340 on Crutchfield :)
