I need a 15" sub - have 340 watts @ 4 ohms.

Efficiency still applies when you start getting into enclosures there are a couple of companies making very high efficiency woofers Hifonics makes one in the Olympus subs and i think CV has a newer version.

Not necessarily just high sensitivity woofers but any woofer. A proper enclosure can increase the efficiency of your bass output for instance a 1cube box may produce a score of 122 db but uses 460 watts. Where as a 3 cube box could produce the same score using only 200 watts. Increasing the efficiency of the woofer but no increasing the sensitivity.

If you have a sub made for a 3ft^3 box in 1ft^3, it's not efficiency, it's just peaky and overdamped. haha

how long will it take Bill to catch on that I'm messing with him? Call in your bets, please.
