used it to drive a pair of MTX truck box speakers.. the ones with a 10" woofer, and a mid and tweeter in the top edge, with handles.. heh sucky things.

I think I went from a kenwood tape deck (pull-out) KRC-555 and the Coustic AMP190, to a Pioneer DEH-55 first gen car CD player, with two Coustic AMP190 amplifiers and an AMP100a, which drove two 8" bazookas, factory rears, kenwood coaxials in front, and some (coustic maybe?) tweeters in front, everything using passive filter networks. All in all it was a really sh*t stereo, but prior to that, I had a kenwood two-shaft tape deck and two 6x9s in small enclosures, along with two really crappy Sony 5.25" coaxials in a 280ZX. Ahhh the 80s.

After that garbage, I went to work at the audio shop, and sold the 280 and the Shadow, and bought the Festiva. The system for that was much better, but went through a series of sub setups, from 4 Orion 8" in isobaric, to a single 15", to the two CV 12", etc.

LMAO. I had a kraco amp at one time too. Hooked to some pioneer 6/9s.

The funny thing, it actually got stollen, and the replacment system was a 1000 times better.

holy cow. Way to jump in the wayback machine.

I had a sparkomatic eq on two Jensen 6x9's and a factory tape deck that did have AUTO REVERSE, thought I was the king of the road. Man Id just about do anything to go back to those days. Back before I knew my firend RESPONSIBILITY. hahaha

Thanks for the memories,

Tim
