Green Skys and Tornado Sirens...

Post by MobileAudio219 »

We got our first tornado warning of the season tonight. The rotation stayed just south of us, but we were right on the line.

The sky turned green and the tornado sirens went off, but no tornado's for my immediate area.

It's spring time!

Yeah, a hurricane would suck too.

The bad things about tornado's are you're lucky to know 20 minutes before they hit, at least with a hurricane you have a few days or whatever.

Then again, it's hard to match the wide spread devastation of a hurricane.

Yep, I thought for a minute that we might be in some trouble.

It all spawned up pretty fast.

The news guy came on and said they're is rotation over my area and there was a tornado warning.. I got up and looked out the window and saw the sky was GREEN, then I went out to my car to grab a flash light (figuring there was a good chance of a power outage) and the tornado sirens started going off...

I was just hoping it didn't start hailing....... on my car!

That is what GREEN means...HAIL!

Other than that, greenage doesn't mean rotation, only hail...but, that does indicate a severe storm, so as bill stated, run, duck or hide!
