I used it once and its not easy to work with. It doesnt bend well. It cuts funny and strands pull out easy.
I wont use it again.
Works fine in my van and for hundreds of other people. You are seriously the first complaint Ive ever heard.

The runs in my van bend fine it cut fine and i don't know how the hell you pulled a strand out of wire 20ft long. Maybe it was just you.

As far as the battery question, the shuriken battery is designed as a secondary battery its not a normal starting battery. Its not a capacitor its still a battery just different just like a yellow top and red top from optima. If you put a kinetic under the hood you would probably be fine. I for one always like to put my batteries as close to the source as possible and adding a second battery works great. I still say add a second battery like the kinetic 600 or shuriken. For fusing you will need to fuse that wire at the back battery as well.

Its not nearly as flexible as copper.

It bends fine, but it stays. Its just not flexible.

My linemen pliers are older and dulled- so maybe it was them. BUT I dont have a problem with copper...

Maybe the problem is you cut 4 and 0 awg with a lineman pliers.

I use this http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/d ... mber=40507

paid $4 for it on sale.

It cuts copper and aluminum 0 and 4 awg like butter.

The flexibility is dependant on the strand count and the jacket more than likely. Ever use kicker hyperflex? Ever compare that to copper welding wire?

Can we have a thread where ryan doesn't try to sell American bass?

No actually I havent.

As you can see I posted the VFL amp but at a much higher price than the MQ Quart. It wasnt meant to be a sale, but to illustrate the quarts a good buy.

And no, sorry, I didnt try to sell him wire.

I think I got some of that 4 Ga KLMX shit in my drawer if you guys want it. I wont use it on anything.

So take your attitude and simmer down.

I could get you this amp;

http://americanbassusa.com/front/showco ... fileid=291

But it would set you back $205 + shipping.

one thing you will note about car audio is our wires are all larger than the factory sized wires. While it may have a "4 ga" in there compare to a car audio "4 ga" and it will look like a pencil.

"I COULD GET YOU" isn't an attempted sale?
