tire size for a 02 mustang GT

Post by Tim »

Ok guys I know we specialize in a little of everything around here so here goes. A friend of mine at work recently acquired herself a 02 mustang GT. I think its a 02.

Anyway she is needin tires to go on it. Right now it has some screwed sizes on it. 265/35's on the back and 245/45's on the front, (I know it is a screwed up deal). Anyway she is needin rubber and doesnt really know what would be a good size to go with. I know we got some real mustang fans here so I thought this would be the place to start.

Oh yeah the person who had it before put the Saleen 5 spoke mags on it.

Any help for her would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hey thanks Justin. The tires she has on it now are 18's. So she would have to get new rims also if she went with 17's. Right??

What if she wants to keep the Saleen wheels and get 18 inch tires, what should she go with then??

To keep the same rolling diameter and width using the 18's go with 245/40-18's.
