It's time to move.

Post by MobileAudio219 »

So over the last year or so my apartment complex has went to hell. It was once a quiet neighborhood with older, respectable people. Now it's anything but.

It's not uncommon to wake up at 2-3am to the neighbors partying insanely loud outside (or inside with their windows open)... or to one of their drunken brawls in the parking lot. I mean come on, take that sh*t out to the country, that's what we always did. I don't know, maybe I'm just getting old (26 y.o).

Anyways, this evening we get a phone call from one of the elderly neighbors left. She works the night shift and when she came home (6am) there was a box in the road and new clothes and stuff thrown around the parking lot. She investigated and found a receipt with my sisters name and number (share an apartment with my sister, blah), so she picked it all up and took it inside her apartment. She said that she didn't want to wake us up that early on Christmas Eve, so she called this afternoon when she woke up...

The box was in the back of my sisters explorer, which was covered with the vinyl cover and her doors were locked. I guess somebody got the back gate unlocked (didn't mess anything up) and was going through stuff. I guess they got spooked and threw what they had on the ground and boogied. I had a pioneer cd player and some tools in a shoe box back there, which was were untouched (which is why I think they were spooked.)

So yeah, I think we'll be moving soon. I'm going to keep a real good eye on stuff from here on out. If I find anybody messing with our stuff I will make contact with them.... via baseball bat...

Hopefully we can find a house with a garage. Enough of this apartment sh*t...

Sorry, I needed to vent! :words

Amen brother.

We have/had some rough neighbors a few places over. The latest one liked to leave piles of puke every weekend from drinking to much. All conveniently outside her car door. I complained to the landlord and havent seen them around SINCE.

Were ready for a house mentally but not financially.

We found a good fixer upper for cheap, but the work it needs probably out does what its really worth.
