Pretty cool that a bunch of strangers with a common interest would come together to do that for someone, even putting up airfare for the ones who couldn't afford it.

Car clubs are great, and for the most part the people in them are awesome. I've received several parts for my cars just by posting that "I need something to fix this." Given a few parts away the same way.
