Lets hear your black Friday stories! Arrest, violence, greed?

I saw a lady trying to jack stuff out of another ladies cart. The lady turned around just as the other lady was pulling stuff out, good little argument there! :D

But I just went to Wal-Mart and didn't get there early enough to catch the good stuff.

I pretty much just use my computer to surf the net, so it doesn't need to be super fast or anything.

I'm going to pick up a new laptop here shortly, mainly because I want a TL and the ability to do some tuning on my vehicles.

I think I've narrowed my choice of laptop down to this one... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6834220613

I can pick it up here in Alberta for a similar price.

That's where I'm lucky I suppose, I don't need anything really fast for what I want. I'll probably pick up a cheap (couple hundred dollar one). :D

Looks really nice my only comment is i would have went with the new ati vid cards (5870). And i despise asus motherboards after getting 2 DOA boards in a row. I rock gigabyte now and im very pleased.

Asus is good. DOA can be a number of reasons that aren't always the manufacturer's fault.

Gigabyte is also good. I know MSI used to be good, but I'm not sure about the current products. EPox hasn't impressed me.

I have been watching the prices and all for the video cards and over the last 2 months, I haven't looked into ATI. I'm kicking myself now. I didn't know about the new cards. They are also all sold out on newegg.
