Need a good, cheap headunit.

Yea some of them are fine but the 3 we have had the pleasure of dealing with all had noise issues. Even with the processor. I wonder y it was a refurb?

isnt the noise problem caused by a little fuse in the deck going out due to the deck not being grounded correctly
thats what i read b4 i got mine so i grounded the metal case to my chassis b4 doing any other wiring

my 880prs is a refurb as well

my 880prs is a refurb as well

A lot of the units have bad internal grounds, creating high resistance and melting the soldier point and eventually failing. This isnt specifically the prs but many other pioneers.
