I will have to send some out Christmas time if you can wait till then... I just sent out some beer to Missouri to a girlfriend of mine, and sent some other ones out to California for a competition and to a cousin...

I think this is a bit difficult to answer because I'm not familiar with your location or your tastes... I mean you said you normally drink Bud Light or Yuengling, both of which I'm not really a fan of.

I think what you need to do is start with some starter beers first then move on up to the bigger more flavorful beers...

My suggestion is to get your hands on a nice german-made pilsner or a very nice English Pale Ale/bitter.

So my suggestions would be for the pilsner, that is pretty easy to find is Bitburger or Hofbrauhaus Lager. You can always go with Pilsner Urquell for a nice Czech pilsner...

For the EPA/Bitter, you can definitely try a Boddington's in the can however I'm not a fan of it really, Fuller's ESB is in many opinions the Best English ESB out there. Another ESB that is really good is Red Hook's ESB...

Also if your looking for a good wheat beer try Sam Adam's summer while you can, and since October is fast approaching, definitely get the Sam Adam's Oktoberfest... IMO their best beer they make. Paulaner makes a great Oktoberfest as well.

Oh and while i'm here I framed out the concrete side of the wall in just under 3hrs last night which is pretty good since I'm doing it solo. And I am cuttign all my wood in the garage instead of downstairs... I used about 28 studs to get the job done so I'm glad that I bought some extra just in case... No bad cuts, just a lot more real estate to cover than I anticipated. Plus I like to double-stud in corners and end caps... Pictures to come tonight or tomorrow morning.

I made one critical mistake but I think I should be ok... I forgot to put down a moisture barrier between the wall and the studs... However, we've never had leaks from the foundation before and its never really damp down there... When it is though we run our dehumidifiers and we end up being a little dry sometimes down there.

Actually all of the concrete is sealed... However I was told by my uncle that all concrete that will be covered by flooring or by drywall, should have a vapor barrier behind it... I guess I'll just take that chance...

Oh and Bill, I've determined that I will not be putting down a laminate floor in that area... Instead, I am going to get a bucket of that Garage Epoxy paint with the speckles in it paint that down on it. Its the color that I really want... plus I have a new layout idea that i will be working with... I want the poker table to be able to fit in the bar area as well.

Yea thats bad news... Should atleast have a vapor barrier under the 2x4's or use pressure treated :(

Here's the kicker on that on Bill... I have a sh*t-ton of pt 2x6 boards in my garage left over from my deck build... I was considering ripping them all to 2x4's but didnt want to have to deal with it so I just went out and purchased the regular 2x4 studs... If worse comes to worse I can lay vapor barrier behind most of the studs and then in the areas that will not have electrical outlets in them... I Still need to go out and get a ton of Insulation...

I really don't have a damp basement though so I think I'll be ok...
