Thanks guys, the dash kit is a Metra kit that I got from parts express.

Hands down the best kit I have ever had. I have used Metra in the past several times, but this one is the best fit I have ever had.

Ask Robbie aka kornyfreak what he thinks of the metra kits.... he couldn't figure it out... lol! :teach

They're good kits, though I've never had any problems with scosche kits either.

I cant wait to see MOAR!

The mounting on this one was different the brackets slid into notches on either side of the kit and "snapped" into place. And while the head unit was just a rear mount, it actually "locked" into place.

It is the DEH-P980BT, I got it from Sonic Electronix they had the cheapest price, I know you didnt ask for that, i was throwing it in there.

I really dig this head unit, its got features, heck its features have features. Closest to a real SQ deck I have ever had. Really like it.

after a month off due to surgery, I have got some more work done.

Ran the 2 gauge and the signal cables saturday, now onto the pix.

ImageRan the 2 gauge into the cab. Just for future refrence we found a grommet right beside the steering column.

ImageTucking the 2 gauge.

ImageGM must have some audio freexs somewhere to leave enough room for at least 2 gauge cable.

ImageHead unit out of dash to hook up signal cables.

ImageHere we are tucking all the signal cables on the passenger side of the truck.

ImageHere are the signal cables ran to the back.

As you all know all the wiring will be hid under the sill plates.

take a look and see whatcha think.

thanks for looking,

Tim
