Ok now I get it: Correct me if I'm wrong... I was assuming that they were both on one amp... My apologies.

2 Subs. Wired Identically "or so you say"
Sealed box... same box both subs with a divider
Each sub is being powered by a different amp. but each amp is exactly the same

Am I right so far?

When you switch the wires around "Sub A To Amp A" now is "Sub A To Amp B" and vice-versus, the sub still has much less output soundwise than the other sub.

I suggest this... Pull both subs out... Verify that you have them correctly wired... I'm assuming this is a DVC cerwin Vega? make sure that you are presenting a 2 ohm load (If it is a Dual 4 ohm sub) or a 1 ohm load (if it is dual 2) to the amp. If it is not the wiring config... your sub is busted somewhere.

Even so I've wired out of phase before and volume-wise I couldnt perceive a difference... Then again I don't have audiophile hearing... lol

He has 2 amps or so im seeing now so phase shouldn't really be an issue however some subs don't play the same if its wired - to + and + to - While that doesn't really hurt the sub it can cause issues and volume differences.

both are the same and both reads 4.3 ohms . and i did rechecked

the wiring on both subs.
i notice this problem a month ago and CAPTAIN you got what i was saying.

So what your saying is everything is 100percent perfect and nothing could be wrong except the subs. It sounds to me like you didnt need our help. ill buy the subs from your for 50 each since there busted.

oh dang, i was going to offer to buy his busted subs. but Bill got to it first.

GLC - you haven't mentioned your gain settings, or how you have the amps wired (especially the signal wire)

Take a couple of pictures or something, because your posts are kind of hard to follow, and leave out some information that is needed to help diagnose your problem.

I think it is the sub boss...

It can't be his gains if he switched the wires to the subs from one amp to another and the one that is giving him problems stays the same... So the only issue is the sub...

Why do you think its the sub? Lets think logically here.

The sub appears to be working, and the coils read 4.3 ohms when measured.

No physical damage and the VC is obv fine, unless the cone doesn't move, what can be broken about it?

you havent mentionedif the are the amps two channel?? do they have built in crossovers, i know x-over points were mentioned earlier, but does the amp have them?? if so, are they set to low pass?? is there bass boost on the amps??

What im asking is everything set exactly the same on both amps.
