05 chevy Z-71

Post by Tim »

Okay since this topic requires both a fit kit and harness, i just put it here to make it easy.

I'm most likely getting a 05 Chevy Z-71 ext.cab. I have looked around and found different harnesses, the fit kit is pretty much the standard flavor, but I did find several harnessess.

does anyone know right off the top of they head which harness I will need. I know I will need a module if I want to keep the chimes and such, but which harness.

BTW would the module from my 02 bonny work??

I was wanting to go ahead an order it so it will be here when I get the truck.

Thanks,

Tim

This is what I use brand wise:

The Wholesale House should carry these!

I dont know what actual vehicle it is though. I do know that Z-71 isnt a model, its a trim package.

So you will need to be more specific.

Also does it have on star?

Does it have a factory amplifier?

Ehh, for some reason I automatically thought it was 1500.

I hope it's a 1500....

well yeah it is a trim package, but it is a silverado 1500. No on onstar and probably no to the factory amp.

Nope he wanted too much for it, especially for it to be a rebuild.

I liked it though, it was a slick truck.
