Help me! Subs driving me crazy

Hi I have Theater Research tr-9700 subs and I need to find the right amp for them. The RMS is 400 but they are 1600watts a piece at 2ohms/channel. The box say amplifier recommended 400-1200 watts. Help me pleaz! I have a sony xplod CDXGT330 52 WATTS X 4 HIGH CD PLAYER.

if you put anywhere near 3200 watts to those subs they'll blow up.

i'd say between 300 and 500 watts rms. But you might still smoke them.

Where did you buy the subs?
