Charbroil Grills

Post by Ryan from Ohio »

I gotta give it to this Company, they are good!

About 5 years ago I bought a brand new $400 grill. Not the most expensive one, but pretty high end at the time. Nice Stainless Steel w/brass burners.

Last few times Ive used it Ive noticed its been flaring up bad and having flames shoot out the front. Singed my hand hair on it one time!

So I tore into it to clena out the tray and burners. The burners holes got clogged with debris...

To my surprise I found two of three burners "warped". The warp makes it so the gas rushes to the high ends, and is the cause of my burning and singed hand hair.

So I called them up. I got a little hassle because I didnt have my reipt anymore. In the end the nice polite American based call center lady said we will just go ahead and warranty it out. My Grill has a good warranty and lifetime on the burners ;) They also replaced another part that connects the burners together for free, even though they werent supposed to.

$9 later and my grill will be rocking again :)

When this grill dies Im buying another Charbroil!

I looked at Weber. It was same old tired designs and $500... Hell it was even steel construction...

$400 buys one hell of a nice Charbroil one!
