A break!!

Post by Tim »

Does anyone else ever just need a break?? I been workin on a enclosure for exactly 34.251 years or at least it seems. I think the frustration is manifesting itself.

I feel like its spring time and I got so much to do, mow the yard, watch the kid, be a good provider to the wife, be a good husband to said wife, work( gotta eat), work on my car, the kid is trying to break his self from naps and he is ill as a little hornet, all the friggin time, he is not potty training well at all, he like to just go around and spit everywhere, oh my god I just feel like I cant take it much longer. Trying to be everything at once just aint getting it anymore, but I am the only one who can do it. I feel like throwing my sub box out the window, but then that is admitting defeat and I cant have that.

There is so much to do and so little time to do it. Hopefully this rant will make it some better. Thanks for reading and listening.

I see all these nice systems with fiberglass and neon and subs, and I know i have the ability to do it, but it is like my hands are like "huh". I really think I am beginning to lose it.

Take it easy big guy.

Between life, weather, feeling ill, feeling like being lazy, kid, ex, work its taken me like a month to get some sound dampner in my car... I got a somewhat started fiberglass enclosure... I got more project than time or money, especially money...

So Im with you. Just take it slow and easy. Put it to the side handle business and get back to it when you can. Thats how us old people do it.

Haha, felt the same way the last couple of days.

I finally get another stang, unloaded it off the trailer and havent touched it since...

I did go push it in my cousins garage today. I'm HOPING to spend a couple hours on it tomorrow and get the interior stripped out, but we'll just have to wait and see...

I did get a bunch of other stuff done yesterday. My sister has been hounding me about finding her a van, so I went by my buddys lot (used to work for him) and he had a nice 2000 dodge grand caravan sport for $2,000 (kbb was $5,000.) http://www.kbb.com/KBB/UsedCars/Pricing ... 351%7Ctrue

Also picked up a riding mower for 20 bucks, its just a murray but its only a few years old. It does need a new battery and the blades sharpend.

And lastly, I picked up a nice ladder rack for 25 bucks at the local junkyard, then turned around and sold it to my cousin for 100 bucks. Though it was a bit of a hassle and probably wasted 10-15 bucks in gas running all around trying to find him one.

So I did get some stuff done, just not what I wanted.

I should have the interior done this weekend though... :argh

I've been so busy with all kinds of stuff lately. I wish I had the time to build my box for my subs. I have two new RCA cables I haven't had time to run lol
