The easiest way is to run a distribution block off of your main power wire which will create 2 power wires, 1 for each amp. As long as your main power wire is big enough to hold the current being pulled from BOTH amps, this will work. They you can split your remote turn on wire and use y-splitters for your rca cables. You can run one amp as a master amp and the other as a slaved amp, this is done if your amp has output rca's and use those for the input on the 2nd amp.tommy.l wrote:i want to hook up another amp so i can have one to each of my 2 subs. hoow exactly would i do it?
OR.... you could sell the amp you have for 1 amp
start by reading this: http://www.bcae1.com/
all of it. read some of the pages 3 or 5 times until it sinks in.
then use it as a reference if you need to.
you'd need a power distribution block and a ground distribution block to power both of the amps.
what subs and what amp do you currently have? what is the voice coil configuration of the subs?
