New laptop for Grad School!

So I entered my Masters program in CT and as a present from my parents for my Undergrad work as well as my acceptance into Grad School I was rewarded with a new lap top...
Personally i don't like laptops but I am willing to change for this one:
Sony VAIO Series AW 18.4 2.66Ghz Full 1080p HD display

all-in-all, I am pretty excited about it.

I have a vio its alright... wish some of the parts held up better but overall not bad

Yeah, I wouldn't have any problem accepting that as a gift.

Yea I am a little skeptical on the outer cover of it... but as far as performance goes its supposed to be the "bees knees."

What i really like is that it has a full keyboard with the numeric pad on the right side, which im so used to utilizing on a day to day computing...

Now to find a backpack that will fit this beast.
