heres exactly what i did just to make sure i did everything correct. i removed the pos speaker wire from the amp. then on my headunit i put everything at zero. popped in a 50hz test tone put my volume up al the way to 27. set my dmm to read ac voltage. then put the ends of the dmm into the positve terminal of the amp and i slowly turned up the gain. i got about three quarters of the way until i hit .8 i dint want to go higher cuz i wasnt sure i was gonna damage the amp or not.
