Bought a truck...
I've been looking for a first gen s10, single cab, short bed, 4.3, automatic, 2wd without a ton of miles...
I finally found one, its a 93 with the above options, only 102,000 miles!
I bought it from an old man who had it since 94, I'm the 3rd owner.
The truck is clean, but the paint is dull... I'm going to try and buff it out tomorrow, if that doesnt work I'll paint it this spring...
All the other ones I looked at were rust buckets and had close to, or over 200,000 miles...
I paid 1,000 dollars for the truck and had to drive to IL (waterloo) to get it, but the truck drives very nice... I'm happy!!!
I'll post pictures tomorrow evening as I just got home 20 mins ago. I'll get before and after pictures of the extreme cleaning its going to get....
It's surpose to be 60 degrees tomorrow, and 62 saturday!!!!!!

i liked these trucks. seeing the crazy things people to do this is always fun. you got some people who will throw a nice carb setep v8 in there or a new style lsx motor in there and make them things roar.... if you have enough power you could sure make a vette owners smile go away. Or some of these custom trucks, lowered and stuff, real sick looking.

I had an '89 single cab short bed 2WD 4cyl when I was in High School. That thing was a beast of a truck. Should have never sold it. It was a great truck to run to the lumber yard or whatever. I usually am involved in small projects, so it was perfect sized. Going to buy mulch and stuff like that for the yard is kind of hard in my Civic with subs in the trunk.
