Moving clean up time

Post by cargodz »

Well we now know that we'll be moving into the new house after the weekend of the 14th/ 15th (as that's the weekend our daughter is moving out. Although we've been trying to pack some stuff that we don't use and shove it in the basement over there, we've realized how much crap we've accumulated over the years... Answer: 30 Yard dumpster :)
It just got dropped off a few minutes ago and somehow I don't think we'll have a problem filling it :p lol
Also as a side note I've been doing some calling around and found a place that has a fairly decent price for our daughter to get a new garage door put on... Currently not one there as we had to take it down before it fell on someone, and we told her that was one of the stipulations of us taking over the house. So it looks like I'll be making an appointment for them to come out and replace it soon so I can start getting tools and such over to the new house :)

Yeah, well over half of what's upstairs in that garage is going in the dumpster, not to mention junk laying around the yard and stuff from the house :p
We may even be bringing over some stuff from our daughter's house as she is planning on getting a lot of new furniture now (her fiance' can afford it... lol) and some her old furniture is falling apart.

Yup... Good and funny memories :D
We plan on giving our 30 day notice this weekend so we'll only have to pay a half months rent. I'm gonna be putting more stuff on craiglist soon, like the VW GTi VR6 (just got the new coil, plugs and wires done) and we're planning on cashing in all the scrap metal I've got laying around this weekend, so we should have a lot more room to move in the garage to organize (move and pack).
After I get the VW sold (hopefully quickly) I can get some mor work done on the Stealth R/T and get it up for sale too.
