Trip to New York... Any cool spots we should check out?

Post by MobileAudio219 »

In march my 2 cousins, a friend and I are going on vacation.

I know we want to hit up the sears tower, and my cousin wants to check out a guitar museum in Ohio??

The main destination(s) are niagara falls, ny and then down to visit my aunt (their mom) in virginia...

We leaving on a saturday evening. Were probably going to drive to chicago and stay the night. Sunday were going to the sears tower in the morning, then heads to ohio. Hopefully we'll be able to hit Ny sunday evening... Monday were going to check out niagara falls, statue of liberty, ect... Were basically trying to stay north...

Monday evening leaving to virginia, where we'll probably stay until wensday...

On the way back to missouri were going to try staying south, maybe hit up florida??

So yeah, we're going to have between 7-10 days...

So, does anybody have any cools spots we should check out????

Yes sounds like you will be taking the Turnpike from Chicago forward...

So like Mike said we could hook up for lunch.

Just some advice Ive heard:

The NY Niagra Falls sucks. And if you in Ohio its FASTER to go north to Detroit and thru Ontario Canada to get to Niagra Falls. I hope to goto Niagra Falls this summer like a mini weekend Vacation.

Don't you have to have a pass-port to come back into the US from Canada??

I thought that passed after 2007???

It'd be cool to meet up with you guys...

We want to check out the statue of liberty and a few other sites in New York...

I'd like to go thru Georiga so I can smack Robbie (kornyfreak) in the face... :bigwink:

You might want to check, but I dont think its in effect yet.

They were advising that if you were going its wise to maybe have a birth certificate just in case.

The Rock N' Roll hall of fame in Ohio, Empire State Building, you already said the Statue of Liberty, Fords Theatre, the house across the street where Lincoln died. CBGB's if it is still there. Gimmee some time I will think up some more stuff. New York is where we took our senior trip in High School, among other places.
