golf cart much?

Post by William from NOLA »

Anyone have a golf cart? I have a strange obsession with them due to my time spent on them having fun.

We got a second house in the country recently and sorta want this in electric:

Can anyone recommend a Yamaha one that is similar that may be better?

I have a trailer question, too. I'm going to be getting a trailer big enough to carry the golf cart on, yet small enough for the golf cart to tow.

oh, and sorry, no stereo in this one, but maybe one day :D

if your thinking about a stereo dont get the 48v elevtric cart. you need a conveter to get it down to a usable voltage and they are expensive. I do have one laying around I would sell pretty cheap if you wanted one. the 48v does have alot more power. also you can get lift kits and wheels/tires for any of them.

What are these $going$ for?

Like Yamaha Rhino money? If so, I'd get a Rhino.

$5500 and that is more or less the max we want to spend. I will have to see if rhinos are electric. (I'm on break at work right now lol) I knew they were gas.

Oh, pfft, I'm blind. I missed the electric part.

I can't find a price on these but I've seen them on lots of hunting shows.

The Stealth one is pretty cool, but they are no where near me as far as dealers go. The Bad Boy Buggies are pretty cool and there is one less than 5 minutes from me. I think I'm going to go check them out. I don't think any of them will be less than $6 or 7k, but still worth a look.

I still wanna build a Hot Rod Golf Cart... Screw the electric... I wanna Gas engine... A Harley V-twin would do nicely or for the extreme "Busa Powered"... I mean C'mon who wouldn't want a golf cart that's capable of 120mph :D

You mean something like this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yrzsyeVnT0

I just went and saw the Bad Boy Buggies and some Ruff Riders. Yea.... too expensive. The Bad Boys were the most expensive at $9k and the similar Ruff Riders at $7.5k. But at least both were 4wd and had winches. I would love to have that, but I really don't need it lol
