most likely there are pads on the doors only.

These guys build show and flash, and their main sources of income ( the independantly well off ) don't care if the rest of the car rattles.

They aren't building SQ sound off cars. I have seen Dynamat applied to the doors only, but never in the trunk, nor the rest of the car.

Can you help us on this point Troy?

I guess I don't get it. Why spend that much money on a stereo, and not dampen the trunk lid.

Or hell the whole car.

I don't care if its a SQ show car, or just a daily driver.. The difference in SQ well justifies the price, especially when your talking about that type of money.

Hell let any of those guys here a dampened car with the exact same stereo as theirs, and I guarantee they will want theirs dampened too.

Im going to guess because they will get XXX amount of dollars if they do dampen the vehicle or not, so why bother?

When you have people with a no holds barred attitude Im shocked you guys at Unique dont go for it. JBL and Alpine? Not terrible equipment by any means, but when you have people like that guy with tons of cash, why not step it up a notch?

Will obviously knows how to run a business well, but man you guys could be really awesome if you step up the gear and overall installs a few notches. Im sure your customers are willing to pay the price.

Hell Im sure any one of us here would love to take a vacation in Florida and help manage a high end install. That would be amazing.

Charger was pretty nice. I like the install, not a great amount of flash, but just enough to get the point across.

Any details on the rest of the car, Head unit, door speakers??

Glad the car show went smooth.

Are JBL and Alpine sponsors of the show at all? If so, they might not have much choice on the products we see installed on the show.

Maybe their other vehicles that don't get airtime, have better equipment installed? This is something I've always wondered about these types of shows, if the gear chosen is because of sponsorship of the show?

jbl is definitely top notch stuff. as is alpine. i dont see any problems there at all. as far as sound deadening goes. some cars dont need it. ive done setups in cars that had no rattles at all. once you get away from hondas and toyotas that is. larger, heavier cars like the charger and cadillac cts and what not tend to be pretty quiet from the factory
