The fuel injection systems usually offer better fuel economy and they're just plain ol more reliable.
yeah that is true. It sure was hard to beat a good ol' Holley double pumper though.

i love carbs. problem is most people want to put a bigger carb on to make more power when you really only need about 600 cfm up to about 400 horsepower. properly setup ive run carbed 5.0 setups and 5.7 windsors with no choke at all and they would start everytime no problems all year round, pump the pedal a couple times and hit the key....im gonna run the fi setup on this one cause im only gonna do a fairly mild build up. otherwise id go carbed cause i like it and its cheaper.

i know a dude, hes got a beutiful 88 hatch and rather than do the mass air conversion he went carbed and its mean as hell. he also did a console delete and put a shifter and boot on the floor that looks awesome. relocated the heater controls to the center vents and put the radio where the heater controls were. its freakin sweet.

The mass air conversion isnt that hard to do, probably alot easier than going carbed... But some people just prefer carbed, I can respect that...

So whats the update?

My ex came to pick the kid up today and her van started smoking...lol

So she shut it down and I had a quick look. Bottom line is it need a new oil pan (stupid fast lube) and will need a new head gasket.

I told her its not worth fixing(as she has to pay a shop) and she should just sell it before she blows it up.

I think its a 97-98 dodge voyager. Its the light blue sorta purple kind. Glass all around.

Head gasket probably wouldnt be hard to do really. Its a 2.4 4 cyl.

Anyways I bet you could snag it for about $500 or so in a few weeks.

If your interested let me know!

So Bill, any luck finding anything yet? I've been seeing a lot of Caravans pop up around here lately, but they all seem really high priced (especially for the older box style)... Think the cheapest one I saw was $1200 and it was more rust than paint.
