Ok, I know you said you don't want to sell lesser equipment, but what if you only offered one lesser name that you could advertise in packages. This way you at least get them in the store...then up sell them from there. And even if they only want the cheap package you still make a little.

well i can get crunch and other stuff but i dont try to carry it because you can buy that stuff on ebay cheaper than i can buy it for.

Yeah but a lot of kids are still afraid of ebay because of horror stories they've heard.
And if you bundle it into a package deal they'll automatically think the're getting a deal. Put in something like "free standard box" or "free wiring harness". People always love the thought of "FREE".

have a raffle for something if the crowds big enough. It'll more than pay for the product.

Dont confuse "getting hated on" by getting honest opinions/reactions from people. Remember that the online forum communities are filled with individuals with lots of experience(s) and not your band wagon(show follower) types. To break that down, just because you guys sell a box for $800 doesnt mean its worth it to many of "us" simply because you guys built it. To a fan of the show, possibly.
