Smoking is a personal choice and should NEVER be inflicted on children.
By the way, not to question but I believe there may be more to your uncle than just the non-filters. I myself smoke camel non-filters and my doctors hates me as I still have a better lung capacity than he does... He's a nonsmoker and half my age.
I've actually seen the difference between filtered and unfiltered on the effects of the lungs and believe it or not the non-filters are farrr better for you as you are not inhailing the cotton and fiberglass that is in the filter which your body cannot process.
And before everyone jumps on this anti smoking subject... I do Not want to see anyone pick up on this habit, nor do I feel bad when someone quits. I actually feel quit good for them... I just have no intentions on quiting myself any time soon.
It is a personal choice, I hope it wasn't taken as a insult, cause that was not the intention.
Mike you pretty much nailed it, if said person chooses to smoke ok, but don't bring it in on the kids. I am glad you feel the way you do about it.
Filter or non, don't know, much about that. What you said does make a certain amount of sense though, the filters could be more harmful.
