For some reason my edit didnt work.

nothing against Ryan or Michael but 150+ takes a crazy amount of work knowledge design and TIME. hitting that number off the bat would be a miracle.

With an 18" and 4,000 watts I'd say it's possible, maybe not right off the bat, but with some tweaking and some time.

It's going to be an all out spl box, it's not like they are trying to bass race a 150+.

doesnt matter if its an all out spl box or not. its still incredibly difficult to do. my buick with 4 15s and 4 4k's only did a 155.5. and if i kept it and still worked on it id bet it only be around a 158-59 at best.

150+ is not nearly as easy as it sounds. its not just box and sub its all physics at that point.

that dude has about 900 hours more experience than Ryan and Michael combined. for the record it was a 10 and it was a 150.1 if i remember correctly.
if you read my original post it says off the bat. down the road possibly but that's still really high number. that would put them in probably 6-10th place at world finals dbdrag if they pulled it off. and if they do more power to them and id be the first to congratulate them.

Bill, I'm sorry it wasnt more obvious that I was kidding about it hitting a 153.2! Now I'm not saying it couldnt, but agree with you that it would difficult.

And yeah, I think it was a single 10". I remember when him and Mark (spkrman) were all about the alpine r's. They both did some pretty impressive #'s, too bad Mark turned out to be a scammer.

last show of the season we did. unfortunatly i didnt get to burp it with them because i blew the tinsels off the subs the day of the show and we had to repair them on the spot. but i did get to bass race it and with 1 dead sub and 3 working i still pulled a 152.

Well the goal is 150, but obviously as Bill stated, that doesn't come easy... I never said it would do it straight out the gate... There will be tons of tweaking... You don't just get a 150 handed to you...
And then maybe down the road we may get to that 153, but only after we throw another 4000w on it... There maybe a second MM4000.1 in it's future, but that's up in the air for now... For now the goal is the 150, so wish us luck ;)
