Pulled over

Post by falkenbd »

So i got pulled over Saturday on my way across the state.

Got 6 warnings from the cop.

1 - speeding in 65 MPH zone - i might have been going 71 at the most this was just her reason to pull me over

2 - Illegal tint on front side windows (18%)

3 - Illegal tint on rear side windows (11%)

4 - Excessive rear window tint

5 - Failure to update Registration address

6 - failure to update Driver's license address

The last 2 are easy, but I really don't want to take my tint off, I have until the 26th to get a police officer to sign off on these and then I have to send in the warning slip so they don't turn in to tickets.

Any ideas on how I can keep my tint and get these warnings dropped?

I just also noticed that the state does not accept changes of address for vehicle registration. They just expect it to get forwarded with the rest of your mail. So I got a warning for something I can't even change.

In Ohio we get new registrations every year when we get tags for the plates. new license's every 4 years or you can pay to get a new one sooner.

That sucks, sounds like youre going to have to get a lighter tint.

Did you move out of state? Either way, always tell them your in the process of moving, not that you already moved.... Duh!

The cops around here are really laid back for the most part. Things like window tint, loud stereos are exhaust, a few mph over, they wont really bother you.... Unless you are an out of towner, or a know drug addict.

Now the neighboring town (Bourbon) they sit on the interstate 99% if the time (I-44 usually east bound), they get people like crazy, usually stuff that usually gets over looked. The weekends they'll sit on hwy n (road to river/camp grounds) and hit all the tourist. They really dont mess with the locals...

Do a google search of "bourbon mo speed traps" , keep in mind that bourbon consist of 1,348 people, and the main strip is MAYBE a mile long... haha, you can cruise the whole town in about 3 minutes.
