So remember the ranger I bought?
Got the shifter problem fixed, but the tranny had been ran low on fluid and was howling a bit, so I knew it was on borrowed time. So I drove it down and got it inspected, and on the way home it was clanking and trying to bind up (and yes, it was full on fluid, I filled it.)
So I found another tranny for 125.00 and had my uncle tow the truck out to the shop (still havent got the full size chevy licensed), pulled out the old one, and put the new one in, took a little over 4 hours taking my time... Got it all finished up and realized my uncle was out of tranny fluid, so I said eff it, and decided to finish it tomorrow.
So now I have $545.00 into the truck.
Ehh, this SHOULD make it nice and reliable though.

$545 still ain't bad for a nice lil truck that you could definately sell off for a lot more... I know you'll drive it for a while, but I also know how you go through vehicles :)

Filled it up and took it for a test drive, shifts smooth and doesnt make any noise at all, I'm pretty happy.
My uncles shop is nice, we just built it a few years back. He has a huge snap on tool box full of snap on, S&K, mac, and few craftmen tools.
The best part, its mine to use anytime I want!
Yeah, I tend to buy and sell cars alot.. Its fun!

Yeah, thats my problem, I live in an apartment.falkenbd wrote:I'd like to have another car, but I live smack dab in the heart of Milwaukee, and parking is a premium. I'd honestly like to have another car to drive and a garage to park my civic in so I can tear the interior out completely.
I usually just park the car I'm not driving at my sisters, or at my uncles shop.
