I don't think i could buy a property from a forclosure... I try to make it a point not to benefit from other peoples problems. I mean i know its a killer deal but i dont think i would feel right doing that.cargodz wrote:Hell save up and look into foreclosures... That may be the route we go.
With people not paying on their taxes right now you can pick up mega cheap... we just had a $197K house around here go at sheriff sale for $6 grand... Wish I'da had the cash for that one... but will definately start lookin heavier once the R/T gets done and sold.

I know of ALOT of people who lost their homes because they would rather go take their boats (which they couldnt afford either) to the lake for the weekend than worry about making a house payment.
The job market is horrible right now, people ARE losing jobs like crazy, but how many are willing to take on a couple jobs at fast food places to keep them from losing their homes until they find something better???
I'd say about 90% of foreclosures could be pervented, but most people arent willing to "do whatever it takes."
And for the other 10%, thats life, sorry.

Update:
So uhm, cousins friends thought it would be fun to wrestle in the house last night, told them to knock it off before they knocked a whole in the wall. Well, one jump on the others back so he slammed him into the wall and knocked a pretty good size whole in it.
I looked at my cousin with a big smile and said "Welp, glad I'm moving, put a poster over it until after the landlord comes and looks at the house to get me off the lease."
I dont think he even cared. All he told them was "no more wrestling in the house guys." If I wasnt already planning to move out I would of punched all 3 of them.
