OMG, carbon monoxide detector are good.

Post by MobileAudio219 »

Holy mother of god. My sister just called and said that her carbon monoxide alarm went off, she said she thought it was just the detector acting up so she went to wal-mart and bought a new one.

Well as soon as she got the new one in the house it started going off.

So they called the fire dept and went to the neighbors (she lives in a house that was made into a duplex.) Said they wouldnt answer. The fire dept came and they beat on their doors and windows but arent sure if anybody is home.

The fire dept told her that they had to wait on the cops before they could make entry into the neighbors house.

The cops and medics are on the way now... I'll keep you guys posted....

Right now Im just thankful they had a carbon monoxide detector and my niece and my sister and her fiancee are out alive...

I really hope the neighbors are not at home, otherwise I fear the worse for them. :sad017:

Glad to hear the fam got out ok, and hopefully the neighbors aren't home... We had a house across the street where a lady died from carbon monixide poisoning a few years back.

Ok, the neighbors werent home.

My sister, niece and "brother in law" all went to the hospital and got check out, they're all going to be fine.

Fire dept said they thought it was the regulator on the kitchen stove doing it, they shut the gas off and told them to let the house air out over night and to not turn the gas back on until the problem gets fixed (duh.)
