i hate ebay and paypal

Post by smoker »

i sold something to this douchebag on ebay, he paid, he didnt get it when he thought he should, god forbid i wait for payment to clear. so its on its way and before i can get the tracking number to him he files a dispute with paypal, its on the way, i give everyone a tracking number and my paypal is in the negative until this crackhead closes the dispute, i even offered to refund the shipping but cant do it until the paypal dispute is closed and he doesnt want to close it until hes got his 20 bucks back. if anyone here sells on ebay dont sell to dirk954.....hes from florida and is a bag of shit........

Dont you have to wait a reasonable amount of time before filing a complaint?

Pay Pal isnt safe anymore for either party, so I dont use it on anything major, just very small stuff.

Theres no protection for buyers outside E bay. If a buyer uses a stoled credit card or a jacked account, theres no security for sellers.

Hell as a seller I could ship a box of bricks and all they would see is you received your package, and thats that- sale completed.

Incorrect go back to paypal and read the buyer/seller protection area.

I would suggest rereading it yourself.

Ask brtnboarder3241 about it. He nearly got screwed over by Pay Pal outside E bay. Actually he did. only reason I say almost is due to the fact people hounded the seller into refunding him.

Ive seen it on the net a few times. Providing the seller has proof a package was shipped to you, the seller is fine. It turns into a your word vs. their word about product discrepencies/functionality.

There's a thread on ECA right now about this very subject.

I have had a few bad transactions on ebay both with the other part at fault and every time i've had my money refunded without incidence. its up to you to protect yourself not some company to protect you. if you buy from verified party's and sell from a verified account then you are protected incredibly well. Its up to you to be educated on the subject and make an informed decision. its no diffrent then buying shit on the street corner.

Im not gonna ask brtnboarder about anything ive had transactions in the past with him.

Terry none of this is directed at you obviously. sucks about that situation, i would have waited till the item got there before going any further. how long did you wait to ship it? some people are just assholes.

This guy just seems the type of idiot that wants instant gradification... I've encountered plenty of them before (as I'm sure you and many others have too).
When it all boils down to it, you can be screwed by any means even cash in hand... Sucks that people have to be this way nowadays.
