Twice the Price
i have installed numerous autopage and scytek products. autopage by far has higher quality. the 2-way remotes are much better built. the AAA battery in them last much longer compared to a scytek unit. (5-6 months vs 2-3 weeks). i know, i have one installed in my car. i tossed the 2-way remote aside because i had to keep a pack of AAA batteries in my car for when the remote died.
so my advice, from alot of experience with both products, go with autopage.

Yeah, I checked out their site and watched a few youtube vids of them. They look like a quality product.jonnyb wrote:...so my advice, from alot of experience with both products, go with autopage.
So around $100 a year. That's not too shabby. I wonder if State Farm will include the system for a decent price. Or if they will include car audio at all.Bwcad1 wrote:My advice call your insurance company and put a rider on all your car audio and **** the alarm. just like you said if they want it they will take it. But yeah, I know of at least a half dozen people that had their vehicles busted into or stolen. Didn't make a difference that they had alarms. But at least it gave them a heads up it was being busted into with the 2-way. I'm sure it's still a deterrent to some but on the other hand just a minor obstacle to others.
^ I was just going to suggest the same thingBwcad1 wrote:My advice call your insurance company and put a rider on all your car audio and **** the alarm. just like you said if they want it they will take it. Insurance > Alarm. and just so know 20k audio rider only cost me 8 bucks a month.

That depends on how your insurance covers installed equipment. I had a break in a few years back, lost my sub box, amps, head unit and a satellite controller (they left the receiver

Hey, I was thinkin' might as well just forget it. Thanks for the offer but I don't even trust anyone around here to hook it up anyway. For what they want to hook it up? Screw that. And there's no way I'd install it properly. I'd most likely make a mess of it. Thanks again.smoker wrote:i can get you an autopage 2 way paging system pretty reasonable....maybe a couple hundred or so at most.
