Car Paid Off, Sweet Deal!

Post by cargodz »

Well last week I paid off the Monte Carlo... Although it shouldn't have been paid off for a few more weeks.
No I didn't come into any extra money either... So here's how it played out.
Lately I've been making $100 a week payments on it to get it paid off quicker, and last week when we went in to make that payment the pay off was at $377.00. While standing at Brad's desk (lot owner) he asked if we had an extra $100 bucks we could through down, I knew I didn't so I look at my wife and she says "No, she's only got like 60 something.". Brad then asks "Well let's see what ya got?" and she counts out $68.00, He asks "Wanna fork it over?"... Naturally at this point, I'm like "Why?" with his response being "I'll pay you off"... Our's "HELL YEAH!". He print's out the reciept and we go pick up the title in a couple weeks.
Savings on last payment: $209 :happy055:

But since I've bought 4 cars from this place I would hope they'd give me somethin by now :p LOL

Are you talkin bout the Sable? Cause that ones a sad story :sad017: as Ford products hate me... Now my wife is talking about getting rid of the Sable and getting my uncles minivan... wouldn't be bad if it was an Astro... But it's Not, it's a Plymouth/ Dodge Voyager/ Caravan.
I suppose it's a step up from the Sable, but not exactly a huge one :p

Well the wiring on the stereo was about as bad as some of the rest of the car, so I ended up re-running the stereo... I only used the front interfire coax 6.5"s off the amp, but it sounded really good... I even tryed it with the rear cover on it to see how much it would change the tuning... believe it or not, it didn't change to much.
And the kid was thrilled, it definately gets louder in the Golf than it did in the Paseo ;)
