ok I was givin some moral support. Unless alot has changed 3 db is not that hard to get.

1. Add another sub.
2. Double the amp power.
3. Add some damping
4. Tweak and tune.

Any combination of these things could add up to 3 db pretty easy.

wrong wrong wrong

Second you didnt piss me off.

Adding a second sub in most cases either decreases your score or it goes up a tenth. there is way more to it than just adding a sub. doubling power wont do shit if your box and subs cant handle it. when you get to the level above 140 throw all the conventional bullshit out the window. each level gets exponentially harder to get to. the fact of the matter is those rules are bullshit in my opinion and not even a good measure. like i said dont take anything i say personally its not aimed at you.

for example i deadend my blazer and lost 2db.

went from one 15MT and 1 MM4000.1 at 148.9 to 2 MM4000.1 and 2 MT15s to a 148.6

this is all personal experience and information and knowledged ive gaind over the past 5 years. 150 is hard its very hard. imo 145 easy 150 is a bitch on wheels with pink streemers.

yea tim, over 140 the increases become more difficult because of space limitations in part. you can only maximize so much equipment in a car before you reach the point of diminishing returns. in theory and on paper your right. but in the car there are way to many physical limitations placed on the car and the system to entirely rely on that formula. i have persoanlly worked on a car that did a 141 with one amp and then we added a second amp, rewired everthing so that we had twice the power and we went to a 142. we screwed with it for hours and couldnt get anything better out of it. funny thing is we went back to one amp, messed with it and still did a 142 the next day.

I didn't take it personal. But I didn't say it was easy either, you said a few posts back that you could name him 50 things he could do to get him to 150
I was merely giving him support.

Everybody has opinions I was just expressing mine.

No offence taken, no harm no foul
