Heard about this site on the radio today,

http://www.qtrax.com/features.php

Anyone ever heard of it? I guess they've worked something out with the RIAA and all the music on the site is free and legal.

Just wondering if anyone else has heard of it, or used it.

I have no idea, looks like you can download the beta of their software tonight.

I'm thinking about trying it out.

found a little more on it,

Looks like they songs are in a special format, and you can only play them so many times for free. Then you're suppose to pay for them after that I guess.

Well I found the download link, and got the software installed.

But when you click on the songs, it says 'downloads not ready yet'
