home audio speaker question

Post by k0rnyfr33k »

Hey guys i was just looking through my garage and i found a bookshelf speaker that is ruined. But i beleive the motor is still good. Its a boston A60. So the question would be to do a recone. Would i need the specific model speaker recone kit? Becuase that thing is ateast 13 yrs old. It prolly wouldnt be worth it... But, I would think you would need a spicific recone kit,so it would fit the motor correctly. If im wrong please tell me so

YOowill need to find a place that can cone it for you or be able to locate parts first and foremost.

If you cant get a direct replacement or find a direct replacement marketed for that driver in particular you will probably have to measure it up and source the parts yourself.
