Random Question!

Post by brisgreat1 »

I know we always talk about what kind of music and what songs sound good and are good for bass... but what kind of music do you guys generally listen to? I'm just curious to find out whether you guys listen to slammers on a daily basis or just once in a while?
Anyways I can't listen to the radio, i dont have satellite and i CANT listen to the regular fm radio. such garbage trash on it 24/7
i listen to older rap cds, eminem, juelz santana mostly
i listen to rock sometimes blink 182, LP and a few other peoples
and then blue grass... jk but for the most part im listening to those guys, what's bumpin in your guys cd players most of the time?

I listen to a lot of progressive metal, jazz, rock, pretty much anything except country or rap. I've been finding a lot of "audiophile" (Sheffield, Telarc, etc.) material to listen to because it just sounds so great on the system.

I myself listen to just about anything and everything except country... there's just something about that twang I can't stand. Lately though I've been listening to Trans Siberian Orchesrta to put me in the Holiday spirit :)
Luckily we have a few decent FM radio stations here that play a nice array of music, so it's not hard to jump from one preset channel to the next to find something decent to listen to.

I'm in the same boat as Mike. I listen to just about everything. My most frequently played music in my car is Pink Floyd, ELO, Dire Straits, Van Morrison, Led Zeppelin, Stealy Dan, Stevie Ray Vaghn, and an assortment of Jazz, Rap and Reggae.

i listen to pretty much everything that has been listed so far but i also like old blues real blues like son house. i listen to various electronic music like aphex twin, venetian snares, koxbox hallucinogen juno reactor-Angel and man remixed by x-dream has some cool bass. chopin is one of my favorites and bach
Asesino is good especially if you have a box tuned between 40-46hz the double bass is crazy like a jackhammer to the chest
im also a big fan of death metal and grindcore
most rap i dont like unless they do something other than brag and nu-metal is really whiny.

i generally only listen to slammers when im showing off

I like it all, even country. Except the idiot kinda rap songs talkin' bout there twentyfo's, ho's, and ridin wit dere *bruthas. Of course, most rap has a little of that, but I know you know the type I'm talking about. Those three things listed is basically ALL that is said. Truth be told, if I'm in the mood for bass, I'll listen to those to LOL

sorry, had to edit so as to hopefully not offend
