[quote="William from NOLA"]Yup, got it yesterday. MPG]
I know it doesn't make a ton of sense, but the biggest reason the larger motor gets better mpg is that it doesn't have to work as hard to move all that weight... The 5.7 has a buttload of torque (400lbs. per ft.) compared to the 313 of the 4.7... VERY NICE! :happy055:

I think I found out what else contributes, 6speed auto in the 5.7 and only 5speed in the 4.7.cargodz wrote:I know it doesn't make a ton of sense, but the biggest reason the larger motor gets better mpg is that it doesn't have to work as hard to move all that weight... I really like the truck. I didn't like the way they looked when I first saw them, but I like it now.
It's got a ton of gizmo's. The tailgate really impressed me; it has either a spring or fluid in the pivot point where the tailgate always eases down and will never slam.

I guess I'm the oddball (what else is new
)... I loved the looks of them the sencond I saw one... To me it has more of that rugged truck look with only a few refined lines :)
