amp oppinions

Post by cblaze »

thankin about a ed nine.1,seem underrated, rated at 12.5 volts, what yall thank about them.also another question the db series from power accoustik, how well are they really alot of ppl stick by em,i seen a video of the a3000db,pushing 2 1000watts rms 15 inch subs to there limits, one of the smaller ones in that series would be a good christmas present for one of my buddys that needs a new amp with more power

PowerAcoustik is decent for what it is... They over rate on power for RMS and most of their stuff is rated for Max, but all in all if you're not expecting to much out of them they make a good budget amp.

The P/A A2400DB is probably good for about 1650-1750 wrms @ 1 ohm(pending voltage).

Well they are no where near the quality of many other amps... That's why I said they are a good budget amp.

I see alot of people say they are junk but alot of guys use them too. Definately good budget amps, although Ikesound has Earthquake phd5000 refurbs on ebay for the same price.
