i wonder if a blind person can communicate with a deaf person with out the usage of technology or braille.....stupid question i know... there are so many question i would ask.....alot of them already answered.... but so much more...only if i didnt have to pay for the damn membership to post

My mom is blind.

She wasnt born blind though, she lost her eye sight about 5 years ago.

Although she's technically legally blind, she can she shadows and such. Like she can see sombebody standing there, but she can't tell who it is... It's much like being in a dark room, you can kinda see, but you kinda cant..

im thoroughly impressed with this guy. he seems to live a normal life and hes happy desptie being blind... really puts some of my problems in perspective

I find that to be true with alot of people who have handicaps. Especially the ones born with them, since they don't know what "normal" is, the don't see themselves as handicapped. One of my co-workers has Cerebral Palsy, the only problem he really has is mobility, but he's one of the smartest guys I have ever known. He really knows his way around almost any engine, and also has the knowledge of an electrical engineer.
