Since I start work Tuesday, my decisions should be getting closer.
I think I've ruled it down to these subs:
JL Audio 8" W3v3 (four)
Boston Acoustics 10" G1 (three)
Tang Band 10" shallow (four)
Pioneer Premier 10" shallow (three or four)
I'm now wondering which to go with. I think the 8's might be my #1 pick. I'm also wondering if I can fit 4 10's lol. I won't be able to tell until I measure. The amount of subs is dependent on the power requirements from my amp (600rms at 1 and 2 ohms).
Of course I'll be only making a sealed box. I think ported is nearly out of the question. I think I'm aiming for a bit more SPL this time... well, as much as I can get from a sealed box
